Dr. Deodhar is one of Pune’s most respected and consulted Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons. He has been practicing in Pune over the past 12 years . More Than a Decade of Training!
Dr. Deodhar’s surgical expertise has roots in an advanced training regime that has taken him across the seas. Post his MBBS from LTM Medical College & Sion Hospital (Mumbai) in 1992, he qualified for MS (General Surgery) from Tata Memorial Hospital (Mumbai). He then completed his M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) from the renowned KEM Hospital & Seth G.S. Medical College (Mumbai). He underwent a 3-year rigorous training in Reconstructive Surgery at different centers in UK, and successfully completed Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery from Stamford Hospital (London) in 2002. Dr. Deodhar also holds a Diploma in Hospital & Health Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research. His relentless drive for perfection still takes him across continents to keep abreast of all that is latest Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. “The training can end, the learning cannot!” he says.

Dr Deodhar had been a recognized PG teacher in General Surgery for MS in University of Pune and for the National Board of Examinations. He is currently a PG teacher in Plastic Surgery at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) & an Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery attached to KEM Hospital and B.J. Medical College (Pune) where he enjoys sharing key insights in the field with budding plastic surgeons.

His regularly writes and publishes articles in several magazines and newspapers to raise public awareness about Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Deodhar had the rare honour of delivering a lecture on Plastic Surgery at Vasant Vyakhyanmala (the city’s most respected platform for eminent personalities).

The Doctor is a thorough sport and never misses a trekking opportunity with his friends and colleagues, and loves Nature- and Wildlife Photography in particular. His recreation includes listening to Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal & Instrumental) reading English and Marathi literature and – well – scientific journal reviews too!!
